OUR SMALL STORY:

In 2021, during the Nababarsha celebrations on April 15th, also known as Poyla Boisakh, Ak Cup Ichcha was born from a vision fueled by passion and expertise. Originally, our owner, Biswajit Mazumdar(Bicky), was not only a certified web developer but also a Certified Tea Taster and a connoisseur and merchant of tea. From 2018 to 2020, he successfully ran his own tea company called INDIA TEA AND HOME DELIVERY, brand known as IT & HD, with a manufacturing hub in Kalyani, Nadia. IT & HD became a recognized brand in the tea industry, renowned for its quality and innovation. However, due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the business was forced to close its doors.

Undeterred by adversity, Biswajit saw an opportunity to bring his expertise and love for tea to his local community. In 2021, he launched MADANPUR FIRST MAIL, a courier booking service that also doubled as a tea shop, offering a taste of his renowned tea blends. Later that year, the business underwent a transformation, evolving into Ak Cup Ichcha, which officially began and name changed with operating from 2022 till now. We proudly claim to be the pioneers in serving tea in clay cups in Alaipur Jamadarpara.

While Biswajit’s wife now oversees the day-to-day operations of Ak Cup Ichcha, Biswajit himself has transitioned into a full-time web developer based in Winnipeg, Canada. Despite being miles away, his passion for tea continues to drive the ethos of Ak Cup Ichcha, ensuring that every cup served reflects the same commitment to quality and excellence.
